Abstract (en)
One plate capacitor (20) uses an electric field to deflect the electrostatically charged ink droplets (11) in diverging planes out of the intended original trajectory (100) of the droplets. Another plate capacitor (30) uses electric field to further deflect the droplets in the diverging planes such that the trajectories (103,104) of the droplets are made in parallel with each other. An independent claim is also included for an inkjet printer.
