Abstract (en)
A method for controlling a water heating system connected to a hot water tank with a layered storage of hot and cold water has a control system (7) linked to the heating circuit which draws cold water from the bottom of the tank and returns heated water into the top of the tank. The control circuit monitors the heating effect and the hot water storage to compute the optimum output from the heater (1) as well as the optimum pump loading (8) to best match the heating with the demands for heated water and without undue turbulence.
