Abstract (en)
The chamber has two axially asymmetrical electric arc contacts (3, 4) that are movable relative to each other. A heating volume (7) is provided for receiving the discharge gas and is connectable with an electric arc zone (17) by a gas inlet (8) and a gas outlet (9). A return valve (22) is provided between the gas outlet and the zone, where the return valve is closable by a pressure of electric arc gases (30) in the zone. The valve comprises a ring (23) that concentrically surrounds an axle (5) and is rotatably supported in section of a channel, which connects the volume with the zone.
