Abstract (en)
Unit has a heating surface (1) and an electrical conducting unit (2) connected to two sides of the heating surface, where the surface has a polymer matrix and is made of an electrically conducting material that is embedded in the matrix. Openings (5) penetrating the surface are provided in the surface, where the diameter of each opening is 3 to 15 millimeter (mm). Carbon particles e.g. carbon fibers, are embedded as the electrically conducting material. The surface is formed from a fibrous web mat, where the thickness of the surface is less than 0.5 mm.
