[origin: WO2006029422A2] The invention relates to a manual stamp (1), in particular of the self-inking variety, comprising a lower piece (6) and an upper piece (7), adjustable relative to the lower piece (6) against the return force of a return element (18) and an adjuster device (4) for a stamp plate support (2), in order to displace the same back and forth between a stamp pad (11) and a surface for stamping in a recess (10) in the lower piece (6) and at least one fitting (26), mounted on the lower piece (6), which has at least one coupling element (27), for holding the upper piece (7) and the stamp plate support (2) in a transport or idle position. The stamp plate support (2) comprises at least one element (31) which may b engaged with the coupling element (27) on the fitting (26) by means of which the stamp plate support (2) may be releasably fixed to the fitting (26).
