[origin: WO2006026944A1] The invention relates to a large load carrier consisting of at least one bottom plate (1) and at least one cover plate (2). At least three hollow profiles (3) are fixed between the bottom plate and the cover plate by means of screw connections (4, 5, 6). The foot screws (4) are provided with a foot part (8) and a threaded part that is slit at least once in the axial direction. The hollow profiled elements (3) are fixed to the bottom plate (1) and the cover plate (2) by means of union nuts (6) having a conical thread. All of the screw connections consist of a thermoplastic injection moulded material. In a preferred form of embodiment, the bottom plates and/or the covering plates and/or the hollow profiled elements consist of natural fibre products.
