[origin: WO2006038242A2] A burner particularly for solid fuels, comprising a combustion firebox which forms a containment seat (4) for the fuel to be burned and means (5) for feeding the fuel to the containment seat. The combustion firebox (6) comprises at least one containment body, which forms in a downward region a discharge outlet which is closed at least partially by a closure portion provided on a closure element; the closure element can move along at least one movement direction in order to move at least part of a discharge portion arranged upstream of the closure portion along the movement direction into a position for closing the discharge outlet and move at least part of the closure portion outside the seat.
