Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1797966A2] The coater has a jet device (4) for production of a curtain from a coating fluid, where the curtain falls on a substrate. A side folding device (11) folds the falling curtain after leaving the jet device at an outer side. A curtain guiding structure (16) with a guide (15) is adjacent to the side folding device, where the guide guides the curtain to sidewards. The side folding device is manually or mechanically adjustable together with the curtain guiding structure in a width direction.
