[origin: EP1797994A1] The rotating brush (30) can be moved across the work piece (10) either linear (VT) or in circles (VR) in order to smoothen its surface. The bristles (31) are attached to a disk (32) and guided through a second disk (33) positioned at a distance below the first (32). The distance can be adjusted with a carriage (40) and a stop element (43). The bristle carrying disk (32) can be moved by a second carriage (50) in order to compensate for wear and tear of the bristles (31).
