Abstract (en)
The grinding tool (1) has a water permeable, flexible textile layer (3), to which an abrasive material, and a layer made of flexible foam, is applied. The abrasive material is made of binder and abrasive grain selected from the group consisting of diamond and cubic boron nitride. The abrasive material is applied to the flexible layer in specific amount with respect to wet state. The abrasive material is made of binder that is selected from the group consisting of phenolic resins, melamine resins, urea resins, epoxy resins, polyester resins, polyacrylate resins and polyurethane resins and mixture. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for producing grinding tool; and (2) method of use of grinding tool.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein neuartiges Schleifwerkzeug mit Diamant oder kubischem Bornitrid als Schleifmittel, welches sich besonders zum Nassschliff von harten Oberflächen aus beispielsweise keramischen Lacken eignet. Das Schleifwerkzeug umfasst das harzgebundene Schleifkorn und ein Substrat mit einer ersten, das Schleifkorn tragenden Schicht (3), welche wasserdurchlässig ist und eine plane Oberfläche aufweist, und mindesteins einer zweiten Schicht (4), welche Wasser aufnehmen kann und unter Formerhalt Komprimierbar ist, wobei das Substrat auf der vom Schleifkorn abgewandten Seite selbsthaftend ist.
