Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1797995A1] The grinding tool (1) has a water permeable, flexible textile layer (3), to which an abrasive material, and a layer made of flexible foam, is applied. The abrasive material is made of binder and abrasive grain selected from the group consisting of diamond and cubic boron nitride. The abrasive material is applied to the flexible layer in specific amount with respect to wet state. The abrasive material is made of binder that is selected from the group consisting of phenolic resins, melamine resins, urea resins, epoxy resins, polyester resins, polyacrylate resins and polyurethane resins and mixture. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for producing grinding tool; and (2) method of use of grinding tool.
