Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1798033A2] The lamination process requires an application mechanism (1), a coating mechanism (2), a press roll (3) and a transfer gap (6). A complete foil coating of the carrier foil (5) is applied to each sheet on its first side, whether coated or not, in the transfer gap. Before or after this, each sheet is passed through the sheet processing machine. A second foil coating may be applied to the other side.
