[origin: EP1798034A2] A particle filter is integrated into a flow channel (13) carrying an airflow from a fan (14) to or from the printed sheets. The filter removes powder particles from the airflow. The fan is provided with a control device (17) which regulates the rotation speed of the fan so that the volume flow in the flow channel remains constant, in spite of increasing contamination of the particle filter.
