A method for decorating an object (1, etc.) by the application of a textile pattern (50-55 etc.) when the object comprises a part (34 etc.) which is unsuitable for stitching, in which a reference stage of the process involves sewing the textile pattern (50-55 etc.) onto a support (35 etc.) which can be stitched and a later stage involves integrating the sewn support with the part which is unsuitable for stitching. An independent claim is included for an object (1, etc.) obtained by this method.

Procédé de décoration d'un objet (1) par application d'un motif textile (50), l'objet (1) comprenant une partie (34) inapte à être cousue. Une étape de référence du procédé consiste à coudre le motif textile (50) sur un support (35) apte à être cousu, et une étape ultérieure consiste à solidariser le support cousu (35) à la partie inapte à être cousue (34).
