Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1798112A2] The method involves installing a facing sheet between mould parts (42, 44) of an open mould. The mould is closed on the sheet, where a slide (60) is supported on a side of the sheet that is turned towards one of the parts of the mould, and a plastic material e.g. acrylonitryle butadiene styrene, is injected into an injection chamber. The slide is retracted outside a cavity, when the mould is closed. Another plastic material is injected into another injection chamber. The mould is opened and a trim part of a motor vehicle is extracted. An independent claim is also included for a trim part for lining the interior of a motor vehicle.
