The device has a mechanism (24) with a bobbin handling unit (25) that is formed as a bobbin-gripping unit and is movable along axes for receiving, transporting and delivering bobbins (11) within an automation cell. A vertical axis is immovably formed in a Z-direction. The bobbin handling unit is arranged in such a manner that it is vertically movable in Z-direction to slides (30) that are movable along the vertical axis. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an automation cell for automatic handling of bobbins (2) a method for handling bobbins within an automation cell that is arranged between a bobbin selection device and a loading region for provision of the bobbins.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (16) zum Handhaben von Bobinen (11) innerhalb einer Automatisierungszelle (10, 34) zwischen mindestens einer Bobinenwechselvorrichtung (12) und mindestens einem Beschickungsbereich (13) zur Bevorratung mehrerer Bobinen (11), umfassend eine Handhabungseinrichtung (24) mit einem daran angeordneten Handhabungselement (25) für die Bobinen (11), wobei das Handhabungselement (25) entlang mehrerer Achsen zum Aufnehmen, Transportieren und Abgeben der Bobinen (11) innerhalb der Automatisierungszelle (10, 34) bewegbar ist, die sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass mindestens eine der Achsen, nämlich eine vertikale Achse (Z-Achse), in Z-Richtung unbeweglich ausgebildet ist, wobei das Handhabungselement (25) zur vertikalen Bewegung desselben in Z-Richtung an einem entlang der vertikalen Achse (Z-Achse) bewegbaren Schlitten (30) angeordnet ist. Des weiteeren betrifft die Erfindung eine Automatisierungszelle (10, 34) mit einer solchen Vorrichtung (16) sowie ein entsprechendes Verfahren.
