[origin: EP1798345A2] The loading bucket [1] used on an earth moving machine is mounted on an articulated arm and can be tipped about an axis for filling. The base is formed with a hopper [2,3] that allows material to enter a rotary screw type feeder [4] for delivery to the left or right hand side of the bucket. This is selectively rotated in either direction by a hydraulic motor [6].
