Eine Abdeckprofilleiste (5, 5', 5") für Trennfugen (4, 4', 4") zwischen Dekorplatten (2, 3; 2', 3'; 2", 3") zur Wand- oder Möbelverkleidung umfasst einen ebenen Streifen (6), der gegebenenfalls teilweise ummantelt ist und der der Sichtfläche gegenüberliegend mindestens einen Klebestreifen (7, 8; 7', 8'; 10) aufweist. Dieser hat eine Höhe, die mindestens der Materialstärke der Dekorplatten (2, 3; 2', 3'; 2", 3") entspricht. Der Abstand der den Trennfugenrändern unmittelbar zugewandten Schmalseiten der Klebestreifen (7, 8; 7', 8'; 10) ist geringer als die Trennfugenbreite. Dieser Abstand kann vereinzelt durch örtliche Abstandshalter, wie z.B. Zentriernasen (11), an den Klebestreifen (7, 8; 7', 8'; 10) überbrückt sein.
