The piston-cylinder assembly has a retainer (15) for the sensor device (13) which is a component part of the housing (11) fixed on the outside of the cylinder (3). The assembly has a cylinder in which a piston rod (5) is axially guided in a movable manner. The sensor device is supported in the housing by a swiveling joint.

Kolben-Zylinderaggregat (1), umfassend einen Zylinder (3), in dem eine Kolbenstange (5) axial beweglich geführt ist, mit einer Sensoreinrichtung (13), die das Bewegungsverhalten der Kolbenstange erfasst, wobei die Sensoreinrichtung in einer Aufnahme (15) angeordnet ist und eine Nachstellbewegung in Richtung der Kolbenstange ausführen kann, wobei die Aufnahme für die Sensoreinrichtung Bestandteil eines außerhalb des Zylinders befestigten Gehäuses (11) ist.
