[origin: EP1798422A2] The piston-cylinder assembly has a retainer (15) for the sensor device (13) which is a component part of the housing (11) fixed on the outside of the cylinder (3). The assembly has a cylinder in which a piston rod (5) is axially guided in a movable manner. The sensor device is supported in the housing by a swiveling joint.
