Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1798610A1] The timepiece has a repeating striking mechanism (14) comprising a triggering lever (24) equipped with a toggle joint (104) which supports a ratchet (26). The toggle joint is pivotably connected with the lever during an automatic triggering. The toggle joint is pivoted with respect to the lever under the action of a manual control unit (22) in order to provoke manual triggering. The joint presents a pivoting axle (A8) arranged at a free end (32) of the lever, opposite to pivoting axle (A2) of the lever.
