Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006021335A2] The invention relates to the use of a peptide mixture from peptides having a molecular weight of from 1000 to 5000 Dalton for use in the prevention and/or treatment of cancers, of diseases associated with the developmental disturbance of the immune system, diseases of the immune system, autoimmune responses, allergies and inflammations in humans. The invention also relates to a protein component containing said peptide mixture and to formula foodstuff containing said peptide mixture. The peptides are preferably obtained from non-human proteins that are suitable for consumption, especially by enzymatic or hydrolytic cleavage of the proteins.
