Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006024733A1] The invention relates to a toilet paper dispenser consisting of a casing (6) housing a roll (3) comprising a strip of paper (2) which is pre-cut along lines that are transverse to the strip (2) such as to define rectangular sheets of paper (5) having a transverse width and a longitudinal length. The aforementioned casing (6) comprises a nozzle (9) with a dispensing hole (10) through which the strip of paper (2) is unwound. The dispenser is characterised in that the nozzle (9) and the paper roll (3) are arranged such that the paper sheets (5) are unwound individually and exit the device with less crumpling at the outlet of the nozzle (9). The width of a sheet (5) is between 125 mm and 180 mm and the width-to-length ratio of a sheet (5) is between 0.45 and 1, preferably between 0.5 and 0.65. In this way, the paper is used in an optimal, satisfactory manner.
