[origin: WO2006042576A1] Disclosed is a shower (1) whose jet discharge area (14) is provided with several jet ports (13) that form at least two different groups of jet ports which generate different water jets and to which different water quantities can be fed via a controllable valve (8, 15). The shower head (2) is equipped especially with a disk-shaped head part (4) which forms the jet discharge area and is rotatably adjustable relative to the rest of the shower housing (6). The side of the head part (4) that faces the rest of the shower housing (6) forms a valve area (9) with water inlets (10-12) which are connected to the respective group of jet ports (13) of the jet discharge area (14) via passages and can be connected to at least one water outlet (19). Said at least one water outlet (19) forms an annular sealing area (18) on the rest of the shower housing (6). The annular sealing area (18) sealingly rests against the valve area (9) while sealingly surrounding at least one water inlet (19-12).
