[origin: WO2006027159A1] The invention relates to commercial packaging for butter or similar. Said commercial packaging is made of a lower part (1) which is in the form of a flat shell comprising a base (11), a low lateral wall (12) and an edge (13) which protrudes in an outward direction in a surrounding manner and which is connected thereto, and a cover (2) which is provided with a cover wall (21), a lateral wall (22) which is high in relation to the lower part and an edge (23) which protrudes in an outward direction in a surrounding manner and which is connected thereto. The edges (13, 23) of the lower part (1) and the cover (2), which protrude in an outward manner, comprise elements (14, 24) which co-operate in a positive fit for positioning, and the two edges are fixed to each other in a sealing manner by a sealing ring (3) which is made of, preferably, a film.
