[origin: WO2006032488A1] Ridge tiles are either laid in a mortar bed or are dry-laid. Even during extremely bad weather conditions, they must not be able to come away from the structurally pre-defined location thereof. Considerable damage can be caused especially if they fall from a large height. Until now, ridge tiles, especially dry ridge tiles, have been fixed in place by sheet metal strips that have been fixed to roof battens. Such ridge cramps are fixed to the upper side of ridge battens, by means of screws. The angle brackets cannot fulfil their task without being subjected to a minimum amount of mechanical traction. The invention economically avoids such disadvantages by ensuring that the proven storm cramps (31) can be connected to ridge tile cramps (11, 57).
