[origin: WO2006039935A1] The aim of the invention is to provide a rollable roof ridge and ventilation element which prevents drizzle or flying snow from entering the roof. The roof ridge and ventilation element (10) consists of a strip-like carrier material (1) which is permeable in relation to air and which is connected to edge strips (2) made of a deformable plastic film. Each edge strip (2) has a fold extending in the longitudinal direction of the ventilation element (10), forming a wind-repelling lip (21).
