[origin: WO2006035162A1] The invention relates to an electro-mechanical programmer (10) comprising: a manual adjustment programming dial (11); a synchronous drive motor (16) for rotating the dial, which is equipped with a terminal pinion (17); and mechanical means (20, 23, 30, 33) for transmitting the movement of the terminal pinion to the dial, which enable the angular position of the dial to be adjusted by rotating the dial in the same direction as that in which the dial is driven by the motor. In order to facilitate dial time setting, the aforementioned transmission means comprise first (20, 23) and second (30, 33) successive friction gear assemblies which are designed to allow the angular position of the dial (11) to be adjusted by rotating the dial in the opposite direction to that in which the dial is driven by the motor (16).
