[origin: WO2006034865A1] The invention relates to a device for locking a cap (1) on a contact-carrier module (2), wherein said cap (1) and a contact locking means carrier (3) disposed in the contact-carrier module (2) are assembled on the coupling face thereof in such a way that they form a first connecting element (11) which comprises means (5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14) for latching the cap (1) on the module (2) in a longitudinal contact locking position and removable stop means (9, 10) preventing the coupling of the connector (11) elements with the element of an additional connector (12) until the cap (1) is latched on the module (2) in the contact locking position.
