[origin: WO2006037596A1] The invention relates to a heating device (1), comprising a baseplate (2) and a heating element (3), characterised in that the baseplate (2) is made from an insulating material and the heating element (3) is embedded therein, whereby the heating element (3) is made from flexible thread-like electrical heating conductors of a nonmetallic material and the baseplate (2) is advantageously made from a sintered blown glass granulate and the heating element (3) is advantageously a carbon wire.
