Abstract (en)
The shape is cut from a sheet of carton and bent along predetermined lines. It comprises four vertical panels (1,2,3,4) with a narrow flap (5) for joining as well as a bottom (11,31) and a top panel (11,31), also with joining flaps (12,32). The bottom and the top (11,31) are supported by four double folded flaps (24,44). Rectangular segments (26,46) can be pressed out and joined by gluing after the box is folded. An independent claim is given for the use of the box for packing a cylindrical container.
