Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1801250A1] Production of components for conveying media and drinking water comprises extruding a billet or strand made from a copper alloy and cold and/or hot deforming. The alloy contains 2-4.5 wt.% silicon, 1-17 wt.% zinc, 0.05-2 wt.% manganese and a balance of copper. An independent claim is also included for components produced using the above method.
