[origin: EP1801673A1] The control mechanism safety device, especially for winder ring or time setter, consists of a lever (2) attached to a support (3) on the watch casing (4) so it can be moved between locked and released positions. It also has a regulator (6) for the distance of the available axial movement of of the control mechanism (1) between the outer end (5.2) of a tube (5) fixed in the casing and the end (2.2) of the lever in its open position. The regulator is in the form of a threaded ring screwed onto the outer end of the tube.
