Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2006042962A1] The invention concerns a palletizing method which consists in: preparing a template (11) capable of receiving a batch of bottles (2) and of positioning the different bottles of said batch according to a distribution scheme adapted to the bottle to be palletized; picking a batch of bottles at said loading station (1), where the bottles are arranged in close succession, organized in a square, by means of a maneuvering tool (5) comprising pneumatic gripping bell-shaped heads (3) whereof the inside diameter is considerably larger than of the necks (19) of said bottles on said template (11); deactivating said gripping heads (2) to release the bottles which are automatically wedged on the template (11) and to be able to release said maneuvering tool; pressing an inter-layer sheet (15) on the necks (16) of the bottles wedged on said template (11); repositioning the maneuvering tool (5) on said wedged bottles and reactivating said gripping heads (3); removing with the maneuvering tool (5) the batch of bottles recently wedged with its inter-layer sheet (15) for transferring and setting the whole assembly onto one pallet (27) or another; then starting over again said process by picking another batch of bottles to set in onto said template (11), fitting in an inter-layer sheet (15) then picking up again said batch and setting it on the inter-layer sheet (14) of the first layer and so on until the expected number of layers is obtained.
