The brush (12) is clamped to a holding unit (10) opposite the bristle adding device (28, 29). A curved bristle connecting tool (29) with a holding element (28) at the front is joined with its rear end to a swivel arm (20) rotating around a vertical axle. A tongue (14), also slightly curved and joined to a swivel arm (16), is guided through a groove located at the connecting tool (28, 29) picking up a bunch of bristles from a supply element (22) and a piece of wire from a wire cutter (26) on its way.

Eine Bürsten-Stopfmaschine mit einem Borstenmagazin (24) und einem Stopfwerkzeug (29), das zwischen einer Bündel-Übernahmeposition und einer Stopfposition verstellbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Stopfwerkzeug (29) um eine Achse (18) schwenkbar angebracht ist, so daß es sich zwischen der Übernahmeposition und der Stopfposition auf einem Kreisbogen bewegt.
