The fuel injection valve has a housing with a holding body (8) with the throttle plate (30) resting on it. An actuator (23) acts via a hydraulic coupler (51) on the valve needle (12). A transition piece (25) of the coupler has a projection above the holding body, varying according to the tolerances for the component. A recess (48) in the throttle plate evens out the tolerances.

Ein Brennstoffeinspritzventil (1), das als Injektor für eine Brennstoffeinspritzanlage (2) einer luftverdichtenden, selbstzündenden Brennkraftmaschine (60) dient, weist ein Gehäuse (4) auf. Das Gehäuse (4) weist einen Haltekörper (8) auf, an dem eine Drosselplatte (30) anliegt. Ferner weist das Brennstoffeinspritzventil (1) einen hydraulischen Koppler (51) auf, über den ein Aktor (23) auf eine Ventilnadel (12) einwirkt. Ein Übergangsstück (25) des hydraulischen Kopplers (51) steht dabei mit einer Überstehlänge (57) über den Haltekörper (8) über. Diese Überstehlänge (57) variiert auf Grund bauteilbedingter Toleranzen. Zum Ausgleich ist in einer an dem Haltekörper (8) anliegenden Drosselplatte (30) eine Vertiefung (48) ausgebildet. Im Ergebnis kann das Steuerraumvolumen eines ringspaltförmigen Steuerraums (44) auch bei bauteilbedingten Variationen der Überstehlängen (57) vorgegeben werden.
