[origin: EP1804142A1] The time piece has an adjustment unit for adjusting a backlash of a balance, whose one of bearings is arranged in a balance bridge (4). The bridge has a base (18) associated with an adjusting screw (34) that has a head (36) resting on a plate (14) and varies the distance between the base and the plate. The screw is pierced in its center for the passage of a clamping screw (32), which fixes the bridge to the plate. The adjusting screw is arranged in a hole (42) traversing the base and is turned through the hole from an upper face (46) of the bridge for adjusting the shake of the balance.
