[origin: WO2006029395A1] An oral hygiene device (20) having one or more toothbrushes (26, 27) disposed connected to the end of a handle (21), the toothbrush or toothbrushes providing a desirable fit about the teeth (56, 57) and/or gums and/or providing a desirable brushing action. An oral hygiene device hereof may provide for mechanically mimicking the brushing movements of the most widely professionally recommended manual tooth-brushing method known as the "Bass" or "Modified Bass" technique, to thus reduce or eliminate the element of human error associated with brushing of a user's teeth and gums.
