[origin: WO2006026604A2] The invention relates to methods for the promotion of wound healing. Specifically, methods for treating patients having wounds comprising administering the immunomodulator, Product R, are disclosed. Pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising Product R, an additional medicament, and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers are also disclosed. The disclosed methods are useful for promoting wound healing for a wide variety of wounds, ulcers and burns.
