[origin: WO2006018003A1] The invention relates to a window pane assembly for closing an opening that is provided (16) in the outer shell of a vehicle, said assembly having a closed position, in which the opening is tightly sealed and an open position, in which the opening (16) is partially exposed. To close the opening, the assembly comprises a flexible pane (10), which is connected to the vehicle without hinges, at least one first sub-section (14) of the pane being fixed to the outer shell of the vehicle. To expose the opening, at least one second sub-section (12) of the pane can displaced from the closed position by deformation. The invention also relates to a bodywork element of a vehicle with a first position, in which the bodywork element lies on the outer shell of the vehicle and a second position, in which the bodywork element is partially raised in relation to the outer shell of the vehicle. Said bodywork element comprises a flexible panel, which is connected to the vehicle without hinges, a first sub-section being fixed to the outer shell and a second sub-section being opened by deformation.
