Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006042788A1] The invention relates to a plastic processing machine, particularly an injection molding machine, comprising at least one operating unit, at least one machine controller, and at least one subsystem with its own control device. The machine controller and the control device each generate a screen output and can be operated via this. At least one of the operating units is connected or can be connected both to the machine controller as well as to the at least one control device for transmitting data. Until now, it has been difficult, in plastic processing machines, with, in particular, a number of subsystems, to carry out a coordinated control of the individual elements from a single operating unit. In a plastic processing machine, which ensures a simple monitoring and operation both of the machine controller as well as of the control devices of subsystems, the invention provides that the screen output of the at least one machine controller and of the at least one control device can be displayed on a screen of the at least one operating unit, and inputs effected on the screen in the respective screen output can be transmitted back to the device from which the screen output originates.
