Abstract (en)
The process involves supplying a row material to a water quench (3) that is formed by a trough filled with water, where the trough has perpendicularly running side walls. A cleaned finished material is discharged from the water quench and the impurities are removed with over-flowing water. Compressed air is supplied to the water quench, such that a whirl pool-like flow is developed in the water quench, where the pressure is introduced into feed tubes (22) lying parallel to one another. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sieving machine for processing sand and gravel; and (2) cleaning a granular material.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von Kies, Sand oder dergleichen, insbesondere in Siebmaschinen, unter Abscheidung von Verunreinigungen aus organischen Bestandteilen, bei dem das Rohmaterial einem Wasserbad zugeführt wird, aus dem das gereinigte Fertiggut ausgetragen und die Verunreinigungen mit überlaufendem Wasser abgeschieden werden, wobei erfindungsgemäß dem Wasserbad (3) Druckluft beigegeben wird, so dass eine whirlpoolartige Aufströmung entsteht.
