The device has a shank (38) attached at a band holder (18) and formed as an elastic clamping shank. Abrasive belts (40) are provided transverse to a burred dividing seam of a die-cast ceramic article (12). An article retaining device is provided adjacent to the holder. The retaining device is attached to an arm of a robot and includes article retaining bodies. The band holder is moved to and fro by a drive device along a guiding device (36) in a longitudinal direction of the plaster band. A drive device has a drive motor (28) with an eccentric body (32) that is combined with the band holder.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Beseitigen des Grates an den Teilungsnähten (48, 50) von druckgegossenen keramischen Artikeln (12) beschrieben, wobei an einer Bandhalterung (18) mindestens eine Gabel (38) angebracht ist, an der ein zum zu beseitigenden Grat des druckgegossenen keramischen Artikels (12) quer orientiertes Schleifband (40) vorgesehen ist, und wobei zur Bandhalterung (18) eine Artikelfesthalteeinrichtung (42) benachbart ist, die an einem Arm eines Roboters (46) angebracht ist. Die Bandhalterung (18) kann mittels einer Antriebseinrichtung entlang einer Führungseinrichtung (36) in Längsrichtung des Schleifbandes (40) orientiert oszillierend hin und her bewegbar sein.
