Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1806227A2] The device has a transfer cylinder (03) cooperating with a form cylinder (02), where the transfer cylinder exhibits a length corresponding to two print images of a newspaper page, and a breadth corresponding to six print images of another newspaper page. An inking roller (04) of an inking unit (06) cooperates with the form cylinder. Rotational axes of the transfer cylinder, the form cylinder and the inking roller lie in a same plane (E) in a printing position, where the inking roller is formed with a length corresponding to the two images of the newspaper page. An independent claim is also included for a printing unit comprising a printing device.
