Abstract (en)
The device has a print station (11) including a print head (3) that is an electrostatic print head, which is provided with a number of controllable individual nozzles (6) for controlled discharging of printing ink. The individual nozzles are arranged on top of each other in a row in proximity to a longitudinal axis of the print head. Bottles (1, 1a) are arranged with its axis or axis of the print station during imprinting process. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a device for imprinting on a container e.g. bottle.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Bedrucken von Flaschen oder dergleichen Behälter an um eine Behälterachse rotationssymmetrischen, insbesondere zylindrischen oder kegelförmig Behälteroberflächen mit wenigstens einem Druckkopf (3) ist der verwendete Druckkopf ein elektrostatischer Druckkopf mit einer Vielzahl von individuell ansteuerbaren Einzeldüsen zur gesteuerten Abgabe von Druckfarbe.
