[origin: EP1806468A2] The lock has an operating unit (20), which is movable in a longitudinal direction of a door lock housing (2), and a transmission unit (7), which is provided with a drive side wheel. The wheel is brought into engagement with a transmission lever, which is moved in the housing in a translatory manner. The lever is coupled with a socket part (8a), which is used as a transmission mechanism for lifting the operating unit. The socket part is engaged with a movement operating unit during rotation by the lever.
