Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2883109A1] The protector (1) for electrical cables passing through motor vehicle components has a supple body (10) forming a sleeve with rigid fixings (20, 30) at its two ends, moulded in a single operation. The body and ends can be joined together by physico-chemical bonds that exist between the materials. The end fixings fit inside radial ends of the supple body and include a number of fastening elements in the form of clips (40) and tongues (35), while part of the supple sleeve is corrugated with accordeon pleats. One of the fixings (20) is located round a cylindrical projection (13) extending from the sleeve.
