Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1808092A1] The backpack has carrying belts (7, 8) attached at a rear wall (3) of the backpack and locked in different belt positions, and toothed bars (11, 12) fastened at ends of the carrying belts. The toothed bars comprise a locking teeth working against an extension of the carrying belts such that a bearing support is arranged at the rear wall of the backpack in a fixed manner. The bearing support carries a ratchet (31) pivotably supported against a force of a spring, and a slider adjusted in a longitudinal direction is inserted between the ratchet and the toothed bar.
