The system has a tool support (1) such as wall hangers, tool insert in a tool box or drawer of a tool carriage, for accommodating hand tools, where the support is fastened with sensors at an insertion surface of the tools. The sensors provide signals that are fed to an electronic evaluation unit by data links (4), where the evaluation unit is connected with the support, and the signals are transmitted to a central control unit (7). The control unit detects information about the support, and a signal transducer (8) converts the signals into a signal that is viewable and/or hearable by a person.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Werkzeugbereitstellungsvorrichtung mit einem Werkzeugträger (34), der eine Ausnehmung (14,16) zur Aufnahme eines Werkzeugs (18,20), insbesondere eines Handwerkzeugs aufweist. Darüber hinaus betrifft die Erfindung eine Sensoreinheit (38) für eine erfindungsgemäße Werkzeugbereitstellungsvorrichtung sowie ein Verfahren zum Betrieb der Sensoreinheit. Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine gattungsgemäße Werkzeugbereitstellungsvorrichtung zu verbessern. Als Lösung wird mit der vorliegenden Erfindung vorgeschlagen, dass auf einer der werkzeugseitigen Ausnehmung gegenüberliegenden Seite des Werkzeugträgers eine Sensoreinheit (38) angeordnet ist.
