[origin: EP1808288A2] The press (1) has a closing mechanism for a front door (6) and designed of a lateral bar and a lateral locking bolts provided at the front door in a region, where the bolts are movable in the elongated hole shaped guide. The lateral bar that exhibits an elongated hole shaped guide and a handle. The lateral bar is arranged at a press housing (3) and swivelable around a bearing. The elongated hole shaped guide has an upward directed recess at its end facing the bearing and a downward directed recess at its end facing the front door.
